Pixel Blast is a casual shooter that features classic arcade gameplay and pixelated graphics. The player's main objectives are to destroy waves of enemies with cannons and other shooters and perform a wide range of upgrades.
The player receives a basic cannon initially. Over time, they can unlock more complex cannon designs that include crossbows, lasers and other long-range heavy artillery. In a pixelated environment, they slide their weapon back and forth while it auto-fires. They must prevent enemies that fall out of the sky from hitting it directly when bouncing around or dropping missiles and other projectiles.
A single hit from above or slide into an enemy from the side turns the shooter red and forces the player back to the beginning of the attack. Although enemies can take several hits before dying, the shooter can't withstand even one. Any impact causes a wave reset unless a divine intervention takes place from the automatic use of a red heart.
Pixel Blast rewards the player with coins over time. They can use their winnings to improve their shooter's damage percentage and fire speed, increase the money bonus percentage, and activate an offline incremental income system. If necessary, they can watch advertisements to complete upgrades as well.
